ELIZA JOHNSON

Eliza is an astrologer, food grower, and longtime yoga teacher based in Hawaii on Oahu’s North Shore, where she has lived and cocreated for the past 18 years. Her practices, classes, and chart analyses are intuitive and grounding. She aims to make the esoteric accessible and to do so in a fun yet deeply sincere way.

Eliza’s yoga classes are informed by Ashtanga, Iyengar, Katonah, Tibetan Buddhism, common sense, long-distance running, and four decades of life. She has accrued more than 1200 hours of yoga teacher training—studying under Kelly Morris (Conquering Lion Yoga), David Life and Sharon Gannon (Jivamukti Yoga), Cora Wen (Yoga Bloom), and mentor Heather Lilleston (Yoga for Bad People)—and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200 and RYT 500. Eliza is also a 300-hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher.

Outside of yoga, Eliza operates a small seasonal tomato and cucumber program, Little King Fruit and Flower, and formerly managed a diversified organic farm. Eliza’s work as a biodynamic farmer, planting and harvesting by the moon, deepened her already robust interest in astrology and the sky. In 2023, Eliza completed Sky Scholar levels 1 & 2 with master astrologer Virginia Rosenberg. The goal of Eliza’s work—all of it—is to bring dynamism, integrity, humor, and tenderness into the world.
