SANTA TERESA, COSTA RICA

Join us this Fall as we offer our 1st ever Retreat Training!

We are looking for teachers to join our team, but want to make sure we are sending our community out into the world with the world’s best retreat teachers, who know the formula we have been creating around the world for the last 6 years. 

If you are interested in teaching YOGA FOR BAD PEOPLE retreats, and have already been teaching yoga for a minimum of 3 years, with a completed 200 hour YA certification, then we are looking for YOU!

COST FOR TRAINING:

$2,800

*ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE IN BY AUGUST 10th, 2018*

TRAINING INCLUDES:

Yoga & Meditation Daily
7 nights at our Private Luxury homes on the Beach

 (There are so many good restaurants in Santa Teresa, 

you will want to have 2 free nights to venture out)
2 swimming pools
Surf break right outside your front door

50 hour continuing education with Yoga Alliance

A chance to lead YFBP retreats of your own in the future!

 

ACCOMMODATIONS:

We will only accept 10 participants in the training. 

Rooms will be mostly shared,

single rooms upon request and for extra cost. 

 

TRAINING TOPICS INCLUDE:

how to teach to many levels

how to handle travel disasters

how to come up with a theme

how to actually TEACH something they can’t absorb in a classroom

what to do during brunch, dinner, etc. as the host/teacher/friend etc. 

how to balance hanging out & personal time to prepare for classes

how to find a location

what questions to ask the location

how to organize rooms  

how to price the retreat

what information to share publicly, what information not to share

how to organize your schedule

what to do about excursions, massages, etc

how to lead meditation every day so people stay still

Safe Sequencing . Hands on Adjustments . Philosophy. 

Tidbits of our GIVING GOLD training on how to give a spiritual talk & weave it into the whole class

TEACHERS

 

GETTING THERE

Airfare not included - book flight to SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (SJO),

then a domestic flight to Tambor*, Costa Rica.

*From San Jose Airport, book a short 30-minute flight to Tambor with Sansa.

You should leave a minimum of 3 hours between landing in San Jose and boarding the domestic flight to Tambor on Sansa. 

San Jose International Airport is just a 5 minute walk from Sansa airport, so you will want time to land in SJO (with room for delays) and then time to go through customs walk to the domestic airport next door, and check in and board flight to Tambor.
